Tuesday, Day Eleven

Today we started our new lesson in math. We will be covering data and graphing. This will also be my unit in my portfolio. The students are required to complete a survey of their friends and family. I had intended on them using 'favorite color' but they instead wanted to do 'favorite sport'. Perhaps their decision is because I used their football team in the survey we completed in class. I expect good results from this excercise and it is something we will use throughout this unit. The students will eventually transfer their survey results to a frequency table.
